Promises

• Rederma will reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and scars.
• Reduce capillaries and veins.
• Increase circulation

While there has been no general acceptance that neuropeptides will relax the small muscles that cause wrinkles for all users, moisturizers are effective in plumping the skin and creating a more youthful appearance.  Rederma includes hyaluronic acid to plump the skin where the neuropeptides may not be effective.

Cons:

• Rederma is expensive.
• Neuropeptides have not proved consistently effective for the treatment of wrinkles and other signs of aging.
• Other products may be less expensive and be just as effective.

Pros:

• Hyaluronic acid is an extremely effective moisturizer.
• Consumers have reported good results within two weeks of purchase, with regular use.

Conclusion
Until neuropeptides are proved to remove or reduce wrinkles consistently, It would be prudent to consider Rederma as an effective moisturizer.  It does not claim to treat age spots or bear an SPF rating, so other products might still be  necessary to get the full protection needed in slowing other signs of aging.
