There are times when even the most savvy and established companies seem to miss a step, but are actually creating more market value by requiring more than one item in a product line be purchased.  This seems to be the state of affairs with Prevage, an anti aging skincare line from Elizabeth Arden.

Working with the “layering is better” theory, Prevage does not include a deep moisturizer in its anti wrinkle treatment, reserving its Anti Aging Night Cream.  This means that treating wrinkles requires the purchase of two products, especially if dry skin is a concern.  We know that moisturizers ease the appearance of wrinkles more consistently than many other substances, and so do the folks at Elizabeth Arden.

Prevage Anti Aging Treatment promises:

• Fewer fine lines and wrinkles

Conclusion

Ii you don't mind buying this upscale product line, layering skin care products can work to your advantage.  Each items has the chance to be absorbed and processed by the skin without competition from other ingredients.  The main drawback is cost. Since Elizabeth Arden has a good reputation, the Prevage line is well worth the investment.  It would be a great gift for anyone who loves taking care of their skin.
