Many upscale designers have entered the beauty field just as many celebrities have started various lines for home decorating.  This doesn't absolve them of the same performance standards that less expensive beauty products must meet, but an already established name makes sales brisk, at least in the beginning.  Not one to miss trends, Givenchy has created a line of skin care products.  The “No Surgetics” line was created for the aging, relatively wealthy population.

Givenchy No Surgetics Wrinkle Defy Correcting Cream Wrinkle Reducer is an anti wrinkle line said to have been inspired by a medical procedure.  Regardless of this inspiration, it cannot alter the skin's behavior or function.  If it did, you would need a prescription for the product, just as a prescription is required for Retin-A.

Givenchy No Surgetics Wrinkle Defy Correcting Cream Wrinkle Reducer promises to:

Pros

Cons

Conclusion

Even if a product is inspired by a medical procedure, the procedure has nothing to do with the product.  Only prescription medications can truly claim changes within cells themselves.  Creams, Lotions, gels, and serums all work cosmetically, meaning they cannot change function.

That being said, Givenchy No Surgetics Wrinkle Defy Correcting Cream Wrinkle Reducer is, at best, an expensive moisturizer that is probably more effective than most.  Since there are immediate wrinkle fillers blended with ingredients that work over time, in about 4 weeks a change should be noticeable, but more product must be purchased to maintain these improvements.
