As products are upgraded, the older versions of upscale products linger within websites, being sold at  deceptively lower prices while the latest, improved product builds a reputation with its main market.  This isn't to say that some of these less expensive products can't be affective, but there are always questions about shelf life and potency that should be answered before purchasing a big name brand.  Christian Dior Capture R60/80 Wrinkle Cream is an example of an older version being sold as the newer version begins life at the main website.

Sold for around $50.00 on websites like CosmeticMall.com, the newest formula is sold in upscale stores.  Ingredients are not easily found, which is common with expensive anti-aging skincare products, but we can assume they are not so unusual or powerful that they cannot be sold to the general public without a prescription.

• Eliminate fine lines and wrinkles
• It is suitable for all skin types

Pros:

• Christian Dior has a good reputation
• Capture R60/80 is less expensive than many upscale brands

Cons

• May be past shelf life when purchased on line
• Has a marine derived complex which may cause skin reactions for some people
• Does not provide collagen
• Does not treat age spots
• Has no SPF rating

Conclusion

Christian Dior R60/80 has a great reputation but the product purchased may be too old to be effective, unless purchased at the store.  Even though these products haven't been known to cause problems for consumers, one needs to see the ingredients list to decide what is true for themselves.  Since this is an upscale product with a lower price than comparable anti aging products, it might be worth trying.
